Rebecca Thompson

Rebecca began her ballet training at the age of eight with Salwa Rizkalla.  She began studying at the Long Beach Ballet at the age 13 and joined the Los Angeles Classical Ballet in 1993 at the age of 17.  Later Rebecca danced with Kirk Peterson's Hartford Ballet and State Street Ballet, where several ballets were created for her by renown choreographers such as Robert Sund.  Rebecca is a part-time faculty member at Long Beach Ballet Academy and assisted David Wilcox in staging two full-length productions for the Guangzhou Ballet in China, La Bayadere and Cinderella.
